Rachel Hennessy - Artist

Over the last 10 years I feel my art has moved to a more exciting and experimental stage.  Under the guidance and mentoring of professional artists, John Threlfall, Bella Green and Margaret Milligan I have been pushed to explore colour, form and texture in new styles and mediums. This input has pushed me way beyond my comfort zone, but I am quietly pleased with the creativity released.  Rather than having a fixed style I love the expressionism of looking at subjects from completely different perspectives and the free flow of creativity that comes from this.

As you will see from this collection my paintings are an eclectic mix of styles but hopefully demonstrate my love of the natural Scottish landscape and flora, especially its many colours.
